A highly collectable 1975 Rolex Explorer II 1655 Mk 2 Steel Wristwatch with Box, Papers and Original Purchase Receipt. Timepiece is in overall great condition. Stainless steel Oyster case has remained thick and full boded. Some expected wear in keeping with age and usage as shown. Original Mk 2 Explorer "Frog Foot" Dial has excellent tritium color with matching hands, original date wheel is present. Dial has some light patina as shown. Rolex steel Oyster riveted bracelet is date coded to 1974, some slack in keeping with age as shown, fits 7.5" wrist size. 24 Hour stainless steel bezel Mk 2 bezel is crisp. Caliber 1570 Oyster Perpetual automatic movement is running, winds smoothly, and keeping time. Timepiece includes Original Rolex Box, Papers Billfold Sleeve, Translation Papers, Punched Guarantee Papers, and Original Purchase Receipt originally purchased in 1976 for $421.29.
