Description:

1978 Rolex Submariner 5513 Pre Comex Ghost Insert Steel Wristwatch. Stainless Steel Oyster case is very nice and has remained very thick. Some expected wear from usage. Steel bezel is crisp with an attractive faded ghost insert. Crown is crisp and winds smoothly. The original matte black "Pre Comex" dial is excellent showing only very light patina for its age. The lume on both hands and dial have aged to a gorgeous warm yellow hue. 20mm 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 end pieces has 8 full links plus divers extension and shows minimal stretch. Clasp is date coded to 1985. Fits 7" wrist size. Caliber 1520 Automatic movement is running and keeping time.
