A great looking horseshoe money clip made for the famous "21 Club" in New York.  The clip is made from sterling silver and embellished with 10 carat gold 'nails' and cartouche for engraving initials into.  The 21 Club in New York City was opened in 1930 and is one of America's great speakeasies and is steeped in history.  It was the first date spot for Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart, as well as a hang out for Hemingway and the set of many classic Hollywood films.  

The piece is American made by Hayward and dates circa 1940.
