A stunning and very rare whisky barrel made in a beautiful citrine coloured glass with silver plate fittings.  The piece is fully signed Asprey & Co. of London.  The piece can be filled with any spirit of beverage desired, and has a fully functioning tap at the from to decant the liquid from.  There is also the original, matching drip cup that hangs beautifully from a notch on the end of the spout.  The condition of the piece is immaculate, down to the matching cut glass removable stopper.  This colour and the matching gold banding are exceptionally rare.  Other barrels like this do exist, but it is very rare to find an example in coloured glass.  This piece is not full size, but bar size and will hold close to, or over, a full bottle of the finest  Scotch whisky.
