Description:
A Vintage Rolex Oyster Air King "Serpico Y Laino" 4499 Precision Steel Wristwatch. Some history for those that don't know- The "Air Series" was released in 1945 for pilots, hence the "Air". The original dial is signed "Serpico Y Laino", a high end Venezuelan retailer who originally sold this timepiece. This wristwatch is in excellent condition and is keeping accurate time. The case and caseback are matching, with a correlating serial number reference date to 1946. The serial # is all there but will require a loupe to see them fully. The stainless steel Oyster rivet stretch bracelet (with 12 full ouster links) is newer with the clasp dating 1975. An excellent looking timepiece all around with incredible patina.
